Technology in education can be defined as tools that can
serve as help for student learning and may be measured in how and why
individuals behave.
Educational Technology can refer to material objects of use to humanity, such as machines or hardware, it can also include broader themes, including systems, methods of organization, and techniques.
Some modern tools include projectors, laptop computers, and calculators also the newer tools such as smartphones and games are beginning to draw serious attention for their learning potential.
It can also include the m´technology or the mobile technology that consists in the use of smartphones, tablets, etc in the classroom or for educational activities.
Although it is taking more potential use, also has its limitations such as the low last of battery or low memory.
It is important however, to have present that technology or computers do not replace or are not an alternative for teachers but are tools for reinforcement, technology has to be used by teachers and students not viceversa.
